A Magazine Launch Party at the WaterFire Arts Center Bliss Bash 2019

Last month we had the pleasure of catering Bliss Bash, a magazine launch party for the 2019 edition of the annual BLISS Celebrations Guide. We hosted 175 guests from the wedding and event industry at the WaterFire Arts Center (one of Russell Morin’s exclusive venues!), for a spectacular night of networking and celebration. We pulled out all the stops with exciting new menu items from our chefs, and festive beverage details like a champagne wall to welcome guests, and a cocktail bar within a vintage Airstream.

This amazing venue is 37,000 square feet, with industrial and modern elements, and impressive floor to ceiling windows. We love it for its versatility — the open floor plan can accommodate 1,200 guests for a reception, but with thoughtful sectioning and configuration, our team made it feel intimate for BLISS Celebration's 175 guests.

Passed Appetizers

  • Fig, Prosciutto di Palma & Goat Cheese Flatbread
  • Tuscan Grilled Bread
  • Chicken with Salsa Verde
  • Carrot and Burrata Spoons with Black Salt and Basil Pistou, Topped with Dehydrated Carrots

Stationary Appetizers

  • Spinach and Artichoke Hummus, Black Bean Hummus, Red Pepper & Feta Hummus, Lemon Garlic Hummus
  • Toppings of: Extra Virgin Olive Oil , Parsley, Crushed Red Pepper, Pine Nuts and Pesto
  • Large Pita Triangles

Main Course Stations

  • Tartare Trio: Orange Scented Golden Beet Jewel Tartare, Jalapeno and Ginger Tuna Tartare and Traditional Beef Tartare
  • Cacio e Pepe: traditional Italian spaghetti made in a cheese wheel, accompanied by tomato basil bruschetta, roasted red pepper bruschetta and pea & prosciutto bruschetta
  • “Naancho”: crispy fried naan and choice of toppings: cucumber yogurt sauce, baby falafel bites, minced red onion, tabbouleh, feta, curry yogurt grilled shrimp, and Dukkah spiced grilled chicken.

Dessert

  • Vanilla cupcakes topped with strawberry and orange cotton candy
