No Detail Left to Chance

Deena and Peter got married this past June at the lush Jonathan Edwards Winery in Connecticut. Cool colors and crisp whites offset the bright blue sky and green vineyards. They were married amongst the rows of grapevines--the weather-- absolutely perfect!

This bride had a wedding full of unique details. She had so many in fact she had us baffled as to how she ever organized it all! Everything from how she served up the lemonade, to adorable “love bird” salt and pepper shakers, to flip flops and pashminas (which coordinated perfectly with her wedding colors), combined to create one perfectly designed soirée.

After the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, guests were ushered to the tent for dinner. Looong rows of tables made for a striking floor plan. Then they were served a crisp summer salad paired with a demitasse of roasted corn and red pepper bisque. It was followed by a choice of buttered lobster-topped filet or lemon herb Chilean sea bass. A beautiful wedding cake was placed on a table and surrounded by sweet treats baked by none other than the bride herself—such a thoughtful personal touch (and of course they looked spectacular too).
